Holiday Park Het Lorkenbos (transl. The Larch Woods)
This unique location right in the middle of the Veluwe region facilitates a perfect balance for nature and recreation. The modern facilities and service at our park enable an atmosphere just perfect for a totally relaxing holiday.
Het Lorkenbos is ideal for all-in holidays or simply for a week (end)'s getaway, or the special arrangement of your choice. With hospitality you may expect from a family managed company, we will do our best to cater your every need.

At Lorkenbos Zuid Chef Maarten welcomes you at Bosrestaurant Zuiderzand, where you can eat quality food for a fair price, or if you wish take it out. From early March untill July(pre-season) the restaurant is open every thursday through sunday. As of the first of July until August the 22-nd Bosrestaurant Zuiderzand is open seven days a week. After that it's back to the pre-season schedule until November the first.
The location of Het Lorkenbos provides the ideal base to plan any kind of day-trip.
Just around the corner is National Park De Hoge Veluwe. This nature reserve attracts many to see our native elk, roe deer, boar, fox, badger and many more species in their natural habitat.
De Hoge Veluwe has a unique lending system for bicycles. You may use any designated bike you see within the park to explore the many bicycle roads.
Of course there is plenty opportunity to hike through various landscapes using one of many hiking trails.
Both the underground museum Museonder and the visitor's centre De Aanschouw are well worth a visit. As is the St. Hubertus Hunting Lodge, custom designed for the Müller family by the famous dutch architect Berlage in the 1920's.
Also within De Hoge Veluwe you will find the world famous Kröller-Müller Museum with its celebrated Van Gogh collection and the largest outdoor sculpture display of Europe.
For the more sporty and adventurous Mossel Events recently opened its doors. It's located between Lorkenbos Noord (tents and trailers) and Lorkenbos (cottages and year round recreational house trailer park) and facilitates recreational sports like mountain biking, GPS hikes, canoeing, horse and wagon rides, indoor wall climbing, paintball and laser games and much more.

Note. During the Dutch holiday's you may rent only for one or more whole weeks.

U kunt een bungalow of familiehuis huren, maar ook kamperen met uw toercaravan of tent is mogelijk.
Sinds 1954 ontvangen wij onze gasten op één van de mooiste plekken van de Veluwe.
Wij zijn een echt familiebedrijf, dat merkt u aan de sfeer en de gastvrijheid.
Comfort staat bij ons voorop.
Het Lorkenbos ligt aan de zuidkant van het dorpje Otterlo.
